How to install Ant Video downloader extension in Google Chrome

    Currently Ant Video Downloader for Google Chrome is not hosted on Chrome store. You will need to install it manually.


    Download Ant Video Downloader for Google Chrome by clicking at Install button at https://www.ant.com/products or by selecting Save Link As...  on desired AVD version https://archive.ant.com/chrome/

                                             

    • Extract contents of .zip file into a directory where Ant Video Downloader will reside

    • Go to menu ⋮ — More tools — Extensions or open web page chrome://extensions/

    • Enable Developer mode (the switch is on top right)

    • Click on Load unpacked button

    • Navigate to directory with Ant Video Downloader that you previously extracted, and click on Select folder button

    Note: Do not delete the Ant Video Downloader folder defined in step 1, otherwise the extension will not be loaded.

    By default, Ant Video downloader is disabled in incognito mode. If you would like to use Ant Video downloader in incognito mode, select option Allow in incognito on extension's Details page.


    As Ant video downloader is installed manually in developer mode you will see the notification message every time you restart Chrome. In this case just close it by clicking at the cross.


    After you installed the browser extension, you need to download and install the Native Application.
