According to Mozilla Add-on Policies, use of native app is disabled by default.

You can configure Privacy settings clicking on appropriate link at the extension banner notification, selecting Take action or at menu Settings — Privacy page.

You will be switched to the page with AVD Privacy settings.

To allow transfer data from the browser extension to the Native Application turn on the appropriate switch.
