FFmpeg converter for AVD - manual installation

In case of problem with automatic converter installation you can download it manually either using this link or you can simply download a file attached to this article.

To make it work you have to take these easy steps:

Download FFmpeg converter (two options suggested above) > save it in some folder > go to AVD Toolbar Preferences menu > click Browse at the Converter section> select the path to FFmpeg converter (the folder where you saved your FFmpeg video converter) > click OK.

Now you can download your favorite videos!

    Hi,

In case if you have problems with automatic ffmpeg converter installation you can use one of attached to this topic files.

We have added 3 different converter apps depending on most popular system types.

Download .zip archive according to your system, unzip it to any folder and select path to  the file with help of 'Browse' button in AVD Tollbar 'Preferences' menu.

This Is how I fixed in on my Linux Mint 18. If it is not fixed. In Firefox URL type in

    about:config

Once it loads type in the search

    webm

Disable all the webm list listed, Than restart firefox than go to the ant preferences install the converter by clicking the install button. this worked for me.

I just downloaded Firefox on Mac and I just downloaded the link listed here. It is listed under my preferences for the converter. Is there something else i need to do? I have gone to youtube along with various sites with short and long videos and no videos are recognized...even after playing the video? Anything else I was supposed to do? Or can I be notified if there is an update for a fix? Thank you
