The error message is pretty self-explanatory: you need to uninstall old version of AVD which is disabled in Firefox 57. Go to about:addons and remove disabled extension.

Once you removed it from the legacy list, did you restart Firefox and tried to install new AVD? Was the result the same?

The old AVD was XPCOM-based extension that required Firefox restart on both installation and uninstallation.

Once you uninstalled old Ant Video downloader from Legacy Extensions list and restarted Firefox browser, you should be able to install new AVD beta version.

When you click on AVD button on toolbar, Ant Video downloader page opens. This is the landing page for all detected videos and downloads.

When AVD detects videos, they appear under Detected videos section.

When you start downloading a video, it appears under Downloads section.

Links in round brackets next to section title allow to manipulate with lists. Clear all button clears list of detected videos. Open folder link opens default Downloads folder. Clear all, finished or errored links clear all downloads, finished ones or failed respectively.

When lists are empty, clicking on links has no effect. Because lists are empty.

    I hope that's clear.

Scroll up to the beginning of the page, you will see that text contains NOTES about important things.

In first of them we warn users that this beta version of extension is unsigned since it did not pass review yet. Firefox allows unsigned extensions to work only until next launch of browser.

Sorry for inconvenience but it works only in that way.

Once the extension is reviewed and signed, it won't need re-installed.

    Sunny,

I created a ticket on your request. Check your email, and you can respond on it and it will arrive on my support system instead of this forum.

The link you provided is the link to playlist file. Can you provide link to a webpage where this video is hosted?
