SYMPTOMS 

While attempting to update or uninstall Ant IE Add-on, a message box with the following error appears:  There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support or package vendor.

CAUSE 

We are still investigating the root cause of this issue.

SOLUTION

1.  Try to fix installer issues with Microsoft Program Installer Fix it tool

2.  Use our IE repair tool  - ant_IE_repair_tool.exe
